Critical Care Tower & Radiation Oncology Institute

New construction of a seven-story building, with an approximate total square footage of 125,000 square feet. The building features specialty cardiac operating rooms, multi-usage Catheterization Labs, a BrainLab facility, as well as a host of other nuclear medicine & magnetic imaging facilities as follows:

  • 1st Floor - Diagnostic Treatment with Single & Bi-plane Catheterization Labs, open MRI, CT Scanner and Recovery Unit.
  • 2nd Floor - Sixteen bed Critical Care Unit.
  • 3rd Floor - Operating Rooms, Pre-Op, and Post-Op.
  • 4th Floor - Traumatic Brain Injury Unit & rehab center.
  • 5th Floor - Sixteen bed Intensive Care Unit.
  • 6th Floor - Three Catheterization suites.
  • 7th Floor - Mechanical equipment floor.
  • 8th Floor - Elevator Penthouse.

The facility was built between 1998-2001 along with an adjacent 2-story building for Radiation Oncology. Both projects were supported by a 1500 KW Emergency Generator that was installed to back-up 95% of the power requirements for the entire facility.

Radiation/ Oncology Building

New two-story construction housing the hospitals five linear accelerators. The second floor of the building houses support services, cancer research facilities, physicist laboratories and the patient processing department.
