PFIZER GLOBAL MANUFACTURING,INC.
Infrastructure Replacement & Emergency Generator Installation
This expedited, design-built $60 million project includes the total replacement of all HVAC and plumbing infrastructure within three separate buildings on Pfizer’s mid-town Manhattan campus. These complex installations featured the installation and commissioning of facility-wide emergency power systems, electrical generators, feeders, structural steel elements and fuel-oil lines. All three of the affected facilities are high-rise, occupied buildings which were able to remain active and fully operational throughout the entire project duration. Key trades involved in the work were: structural steel, electrical & mechanical services. Additionally, due to the Owner’s needs, all construction tasks were performed during off-peak hours, including weekends.
