David B. Kriser Medical & Dental Center -
Renovation of a 16,000 square foot former Autopsy Suite and Administrative Offices. The new fit-out & installation of seventy new state-of-the-art dental simulators, one hundred and fifty pre-clinical bench stations, seminar & grading rooms, x-ray & dark rooms, and new dental lab provides the latest technological instruction capabilities.

The simulation laboratory offers students valuable hands-on experience while working on equipment that actually mimics true-to-life scenarios. In addition to the simulators, high-end A/V equipment films the instructors every motion and then broadcasts the footage to every workstation in the room. Through the use of a connectivity system called “Telemedicine”, lectures being preformed at this facility can be viewed by students situated anywhere around the world.

In addition to the laboratory spaces the facility is equipped with a new 40-ton air handler and a new dust collection system designed to eliminate particulate matter that might compromise the sensitive equipment.
