The Mount Sinai School of Medicine
Morchand Education Center
Renovation of an existing facility to provide the hospital and its medical school with expanded teaching ability. The project included the construction of a 200-seat auditorium with data, voice input and tele input at every single seat. Inside the auditorium are three viewing screens, one Primary and two Adjunct, the placement of these screen assures every single seat an uninterrupted field of view. The former slope-incline floor was replaced with gradated, stair-step seating that runs parallel to the slab, offering each seat a view of the classroom proceedings.
