This project is a design/build conversion of an existing eight story parking garage, it will be turned into a mixed-use Class E building. Coordination of MEP work was required with the project architect, project engineer, and all subcontractors during the design phase. Responsibilities included the writing and dissemination of the meeting minutes for weekly MEP meetings. Coordination with expeditors was required in order to obtain both DOB and DOT permits. The Design-Build program includes the complete replacement of all existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, the installation of new core elevators and the build-out of approximately 160,000 square feet of clinical and administrative spaces.
